Question: are u a seafood

No. I’m mostly calcium carbonate, very little soft material, not a good dinner. Though you can find my shells with neat bore holes in, so something out there eats me, we just have no idea what.

Even though the Abyssal Grenadier is part of the cod family, this is not a fish for your fish and chips! If you were to try and eat it, it would taste quite spongy.

I could be, but I don’t think we are eaten too often as we are quite small and our shells are often full of mud
