      Hi! “bivalve” means (essentially) 2 shells, and molluscs are a group of animals that include clams, oysters, snails, squid and octopus.

      So a bivalve mollusc is one with two shells – so out of the previous list of animals, clams and oysters are bivalve molluscs! (and so is the naval shipworm)
